I don’t possess many showstopper dresses in my wardrobe. Well, I did have one. One that I wanted to wear to my sister’s wedding. That one ended up going to a charity shop. That’s a long story though. Maybe for another day. Back to the latest showstopper.

I now have two stunning dresses to add to my closet. I saw them on the gorgeous Nicola Venetia Steele’s Facebook page, and knew that I had to have them in my life. The one in particular (let’s call it the boobie one) looked better on Nic as she has much bigger and much better boobs that me but, with the right push up bra, it might cut the mustard. It would look equally good in high heels, a fascinator and clutch for a wedding or special event as with high sandals and a wrap/pashmina for a dinner type event. The same styling could be utilised for the second little number as well.

Back to the boobie dress. I’m debating whether to ask a seamstress to put a bit of mesh or lace across the bust area for modesty. I’m not sure a woman approaching 60 can get away with getting the baps out especially if they’ve been in the oven too long. I’ll ponder on this a bit.

I’m loving the style of clothing that Venetia Steele Boutique has to offer. It suits women of all ages and all sizes. The clothes are reasonably priced too so, as well as the boobie dress which cost an incredibly reasonable £65. I also picked up another dress, which was equally of show stopping qualities. It’s called the Pamela dress in gold and that was £75. Being on the short side, at only 5’4”, I’m going to need to have it taken up, but that’s okay.

What I also like about her clothes is that Nic doesn’t order lots in one go, so I’m not likely to see packs of ladies that lunch wearing the same thing. With the first dress, Nic only had three dresses available, and I was lucky to get in quick to nab mine.

I would suggest keeping an eye on her Facebook and web pages to see new lines, so you don’t miss out.
