Add a lovely sunny day in mid-May and an even more lovely venue, Leicester’s at The Great House Hotel and Restaurant in Bridgend, and you’ve got a perfect recipe for great fun, great food and great conversation.
I was fortunate to spend the afternoon with Nicky Bright (Nicky Bright Holidays), Nicola Venetia Steele (Venetia Steele Boutique), Karen Hutchings (Goose Island), and Cheryl Bass (I AM WOMAN Founder).
We started the afternoon with drinks in the sunny garden and caught up on life in general. We then made our way into the restaurant and carried on the conversation.
What’s great about spending time with like-minded women is that the conversation just flowed. There were no awkward silences and as we’re all roughly around the same age (ish), there was a commonality in the subjects we chatted about – whether it was business, hair and beauty, fashion and men!
The food was stunning, and we were well looked after by host Elinor and her fabulous team.
None of us were looking at our watches and I couldn’t believe how quickly five hours passed us by. We were laughing so much!

Another get together is already being planned by the lovely Cheryl at her gorgeous home and this is something we are all looking forward to.
