Women In Wales: The Epitome Of Girl Power

As Editor of Vale Life magazine I have always supported local charities in The Vale of Glamorgan, and I'm especially proud to be associated with Women In Wales.

I was delighted to be a part of the cheque presentation event in Cowbridge with Women in Wales Charity. The charity raised an amazing £30,000 for three children’s projects in Wales following a luncheon, attended by 400 guests in April at the Mercure Holland House Hotel which was hosted by Sian Lloyd, journalist and presenter.

One cheque for £10,000 was accepted by Jo Plow of the 2Wish charity, the second cheque for £10,000 was accepted by Paul Davies, Headteacher of Dylan Thomas Community School in Swansea and a cheque for £5,000 was accepted by Kath Fisher on behalf of the Noah’s Ark Children’s Charity Building Bonds project.  A donation of £3,500 was also made to Save the Children and £1,000 TO MPCT.

Here I am with the fantastic line-up of amazing women.
